I am in love with this cheerful space.
Two walls are painted Benjamin Orange Tangelo and the other two a bright white called Cotton Balls. Of course, I couldn't wait to put up some of our favorite prints, plus some new additions. Clockwise from center:
-Last year's National Book Festival poster (animals reading! so fun!).
-Embroidered DC metro map, a gift from my friend Lindy.
-Papercut "you are my sunshine" sun, an etsy find by Lydia Crook.
-"You turn my grey skies blue" letterpress broadside by maydaystudio.
-"Straighten up and fly right" letterpress print from Starshaped Press.
-"I love you from here to Alaska" print from Hop Skip Jump Paper.
And last but not least, of course, you can see our haptic lab sailing ship kite hanging in the corner.
The opposite orange wall features two prints from my mom (she does good work!) found on art.com:
The white walls contain a couple of my favorite additions -- a NATO alphabet banner custom made by my friend Caitie, and a felt creature from horrible adorables:
