A begrudging admission

I used my knitting time over the holidays to regain momentum on the beleaguered moss and ferns cowl.  Despite making good progress, I am increasingly convinced that lace knitting is not for me. 

And then, just as I had resolved to never again embark on a project using anything smaller than worsted weight yarn, I have to admit that this is growing on me.

Despite the painstaking nature of it, there's something very satisfying about the yarn overs marching in parallel, and I like the mix of textures.
